At Kompass, We’re Building the Future of AI Governance in Sport

There aren’t many natural AI compliance consultants today — it’s a new and evolving discipline. At Kompass, we’re addressing that challenge by training talented people from adjacent fields such as data protection, compliance, law, and governance. These areas already provide the mindset and transferable skills needed to understand regulation, risk, and responsible technology use.

If you’re motivated to learn, adaptable, and eager to work at the cutting edge of sport and technology, we’d love to hear from you. This is your chance to grow into a pioneering role, helping clubs and organisations navigate the fast-changing world of AI with confidence.

AI Governance & Compliance Consultant (Sport Sector)

As a consultant, you will serve as a strategic advisor across client projects. You’ll help sports organisations implement AI governance strategies, comply with the EU AI Act, GDPR, UK law, U.S. regulations, and other relevant frameworks governing advanced technology. You will work hands-on with Kompass Sport’s Elite Consultancy, delivering technical interpretation, stakeholder guidance, and sector-specific insights that reduce risk and enhance accountability.

You will collaborate closely with Clara Hawking and Mike Bohndiek, who oversees consulting services, professional development, internal standards, and sector-wide alignment for this role.

Given the pace of regulatory change and sector complexity, a curious, lifelong learner mindset is essential for success in this role, along with the ability to pivot and adjust as new obligations and client needs emerge.
